Palo Alto

Palo Alto is an unusual blend of intellect, innovation, tradition and natural beauty. The area is home to Nobel prize winners, Silicon Valley CEOs, venture-capital firms, Google, HP, Facebook and one of the most renowned universities and medical centers in the world, Stanford. It's also one of the most expensive cities in the world.

The San Francisco peninsula, including Palo Alto, is a very popular place for a wedding.

While appearing initially to be less glamorous than San Francisco, it's still offers wonderful places for a bride and groom (and a photographer!), with lovely hills, redwood forests, historic mansions and Stanford University, besides typically better parking than San Francisco!
